Jagiellonian University with its own space mission under ERC grant!

The European Research Council has awarded 3 mln € to dr Michał Drahus for the HYADES project, under which a dedicated space telescope will be built to observe hydrogen and deuterium around small bodies in the Solar System. The goal is to determine the origin of water on our planet and to search for new and previously unknown water reservoirs in the Solar System and other planetary systems. The five-year project will be carried out at the Department of Physics, Astronomy and Applied Computer Science at the Jagiellonian University. Więcej
