People from two Cracow institutions - Astronomical Observatory of the Jagiellonian University (JU) and Faculty of Electronics of the AGH University of Science and Technology (AGH) - form our ELF group.

The Krakow ELF Group was founded in the early 1990s by three scientists from the Department of Astronomy of the Jagiellonian University. The founders were Dr. Andrzej Kulak, Dr. Stanisław Zieba (†), Dr. Adam Michalec.
